OpenWhat these can and cannot tell you
They are exact about structure. A GSTIN carries its own state code, PAN and checksum; the due dates come from the same table that drives our customers’ live calendars, so a date here is a date the product would stand behind.
They cannot tell you whether a registration exists. That needs a call to the GST department, and a tool whose honest answer is “we could not check” is worse than no tool. Where it matters commercially, we run the real lookup as part of the work.
